This collective study examines social, and especially class inequalities in different social spheres (material status, housing, education, employment, decision-making in firms, political power, social mobility). The data is quantitative, collected via survey conducted in 1986 in the territory of Belgrade, on a sample of 750 respondents. The conclusion is that inequalities are rather high, higher than expected in a socialist society, and that they are particularly visible in material conditions and power relations.
