This collective volume is based on the findings of a 2003 large-scale survey research on a representative sample of Serbian population. Various aspects of daily life of individuals and social groups are taken up, with the aim of finding out whether the political change that took place on 5 October 2000 has actually resulted in a rupture compared to the 1990s. Conditions of daily life are analyzed bearing in mind the global societal changes, but also changes at the level of household and family.
