This collection of papers brings together project outlines, theoretical essays and completed studies resulting from the activities of the Institute’s research team on projects in the period 1981–1986. Most chapters consist of theoretical-methodological elaborations of planned empirical studies, or systematic literature reviews in particular areas for the purpose of creating research designs for future work.
