Biography

Zoran Krstić enrolled in undergraduate studies in sociology in 2015 at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, and graduated in 2019 with an average grade of 9.37. He obtained the title of Master of Sociology in 2020 at the same faculty by defending a master’s thesis entitled “Material and Social Inequality: Economic, Political, or Structural Factors?”, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jovo Bakić. The thesis was graded 10, and his overall average grade was 9.33. In the same year, he enrolled in doctoral studies in sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, where he has so far passed all six required exams with an average grade of 9.33. In September 2022, he defended the proposal for his doctoral dissertation entitled “Social Inequalities in Serbia 1918–2020: Material and Educational Aspects”, which was approved for development in February 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Slobodan Antonić. During the academic year 2021/22, he was engaged as a teaching assistant (student demonstrator) in the courses Sociology of Globalization and Sociological Practicum at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. Since the academic year 2022/23, he has also participated in teaching the course Theory of Social Structures and Systems, and since 2023/24, he has been additionally engaged as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade.
