This collective volume brings together papers presented at the conference Stratification change in Serbia, held in December 2012, which arose from the empirical research conducted by the Institute for Sociological Research during 2012 within the project Challenges of New Social Integration in Serbia: Concepts and Actors. The papers build upon the decades-long work of the Institute devoted to processes of stratification and restratification. All fundamental aspects of changes in Serbian society are addressed: economic, structural, cultural, political and social.
