The study “Children’s Violence Against Parents” investigates key issues of the children’s violence against parents, focusing on its nature, phenomenology, etiology, and consequences. The topic of the children’s violence against parents in domestic science has only recently been opened. There are several reasons why this topic is absent from science, and, at the same time, marginalized in public discourse. Firstly, it is, statistically speaking, a relatively invisible phenomenon, because parents rarely report being victims of violence committed by their own child. In addition, society fails to face the harsh truth that there are mothers and fathers who can be victims of their children’s abuse. For these reasons, this research, conducted on the basis of secondary data sources that provides a description of the characteristics of violence, personal characteristics of perpetrators and victims and identify potential risk factors, is an extremely important contribution to elucidating and understanding this phenomenon.
