Biografija
Osnovne, magistarske i doktorske studije sociologije završila na Filozofskom fakultetu Univerziteta u Beogradu, odbranom doktorske disertacije 1996. godine. Na istom fakultetu na Odeljenju za sociologiju zaposlena od 1993. (od 2011. godine u zvanju redovnog profesora), a upravnica je bila od 2010. do 2012. godine. Učestvovala je kao istraživačica u svim projektima ISI FF od 1991. i bila njegova upravnica od 2002. do 2006. godine. Oblasti u kojima drži nastavu i sprovodi naučna i primenjena istraživanja su Sociologija porodice, Sociologija omladine, Sociologija detinjstva i kvalitativne metode. Učestvovala je kao istraživačica i konsultantkinja u velikom broju naučnih i primenjenih projekata, kao i u pisanju strateških dokumenata, na čemu je sarađivala sa vladinim i međunarodnim institucijama (WB, UNICEF, Save the Children, FES i dr.), kao i sa sektorom civilnog društva. Preko dve decenije se bavi istraživanjima mladih i učestvovala je u većem broju nacionalnih i međunarodnih istraživačkih projekata u Srbiji i regionu. Bila je članica Pool of European Youth Researcher partnerstva između Evropske komisije i Saveta Evrope u oblasti omladine, a sada je članica COST Action CA17114YOUNG-IN. Članica je European Sociological Association RN13 Families and Intimate Lives i RN30 Youth and Generation. Gostovala je na Oxford University, Durham University, University of London, Central European University, Univerzitet Ljubljana, University College London, gde je držala javna predavanja i seminare.
