The international scientific conference “Contemporary Migration and Social Development – An Interdisciplinary Perspective” was held at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade on 21st and 22nd October 2016.

The scientific conference “Stratification Changes in Serbia” was held on 14^th and 15^th December 2012 at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Philosophy. The main goal of the conference was to clarify new tendencies in the positioning of individuals and social groups in the social structure of Serbia.

The Institute for Sociological Research is pleased to announce a conference with international participation on the topic “Feminism and Left – Then and Now”, which will be held on November 15-16, 2019.

International conference “Structural and Action Potential of Local Development” was held at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade on 13th December 2013. The participants discussed various aspects of local development – sociological, socio-spatial, socioeconomic, cultural, political, and environmental.

The international conference “Politics of Parenthood” was held in Belgrade at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, on 12–13 September 2014. Researchers from different countries discussed various phenomena related to parenthood, theoretical perspectives as well as women’s experiences.
