Biografija
Diplomirala, magistrirala i doktorirala sociologiju na Filozofskom fakultetu u Beogradu. Stručno se usavršavala na Varšavskom univerzitetu, Centralnoevropskom univerzitetu u Budimpešti, Maison des sciences de l’homme i CERI-Sciences Po u Parizu i, u okviru Fulbrajtovog programa, u Centru za kulturnu sociologiju Univerziteta Jejl, čija je saradnica (Faculty Fellow) od 2009. godine. Predaje predmete iz oblasti sociološke teorije i sociologije kulture na svim nivoima studija. Gostujuća profesorka na Fakultetu političkih nauka Univerziteta u Beogradu i Fakultetu političkih nauka Univerziteta u Sarajevu. Predavala sociologiju kulture na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu (2006-2008). Karijeru započela kao istraživačica u Institutu za filozofiju i društvenu teoriju (1996-2003). Na makroprojektima Ministarstva za nauku angažovana je neprekidno od 1995. godine, a trenutno radi na dva (“Izazovi nove društvene integracije u Srbiji: koncepti i akteri” i “Politike društvenog pamćenja i nacionalnog identiteta: regionalni i evropski kontekst”). Učestvovala i u pet međunarodnih istraživačkih projekata. Dobitnica nagrade “Vojin Milić” za najbolju knjigu iz sociologije za 2013. godinu. Bila je glavna i odgovorna urednica časopisa Sociologija (2007-2010) i članica redakcije ili izdavačkog saveta više domaćih i međunarodnih naučnih časopisa. Članica je European Sociological Association, International Association for Southeast European Anthropology, Memory Studies Association, Udruženje književnih prevodilaca Srbije. Upravnica ISI od oktobra 2018. godine.
